Today has consisted of 468kms. of mountain roads from Nasca to Abancay. First came a climb out of Nasca to a pass at 4,550 meters and then we dropped down to around 3,000 meters for the rest of the day. Finally Peru is looking like what I was expecting.

    Another great pic! So glad you're enjoying it all so much... It all looks & sounds brilliant! Anyway, my/our little update is that Nik & i are in the process of buying ourselves a stunning little Mini Cooper Sport! It's a 1999/2000 model so one of the last to be made in the old skool style (a new oldie!), 31,000 miles on the clock, so "nearly new" & in phenomenal condition :) I've posted pics on my Facebook wall, so have a look... Who knows, maybe we'll be rallying before long & giving you a run for your money -Mini vs. Porsche ;)
